TRANSMARKO, Transportes Marítimos Kochifas S.A., is the company of the Skorpios Group that consolidates the cabotage and maritime transport business and delivers customized solutions to each of its clients through excellent service.
In this way, it has become a strategic partner for its clients, generating efficient and timely responses by having its own infrastructure throughout the entire logistics chain of the industry.
Comprehensive solutions and extensive experience
TRANSMARKO has a maritime-port terminal, storage warehouses, storage yards, forklift cranes, self-propelled port cranes, land and floating loading docks, maintenance workshops, water and fuel supply, and its own vessel supply warehouse. This, added to its human team that has vast experience in maritime transport, both on board and on land, allows generating adequate planning and comprehensive solutions for different service requirements.
Logistics and distribution experts, with the best technology
TRANSMARKO's own port facilities in Puerto Montt and Puerto Natales allow loading up to three vessels simultaneously in key areas for maritime transport logistics.
In turn, the fleet entirely composed of Major Vessels allows developing exclusive logistics and distribution for its clients, ensuring permanent supply to destination locations. In addition, it has a Logistics Center in Camino Chinquihue, Puerto Montt, with two 1,800 m2 warehouses that have a storage capacity of 2,000 tons of cargo each, and 1,600 m2 of outdoor storage areas.
Thanks to its experience and hard work, TRANSMARKO has become the largest shipping fleet in Southern Chile, developing together with all its employees, most of whom have been working for more than 25 years in the company.
TRANSMARKO has prioritized the incorporation of new technologies, innovating to permanently improve service and thus support the development of the aquaculture industry and the community.

Today the entire fleet is equipped with the most modern satellite positioning technology, allowing permanent monitoring, 24/7 and from anywhere, regarding the vessels and their cargo, which has allowed generating important efficiencies for our professionals and our clients.

Consolidating its leadership and professionalism, TRANSMARKO was the first Chilean company in the maritime transport sector to be certified in ISO standards related to quality management, environmental management and energy efficiency in the area of maritime transport of food, smolt and structures for the aquaculture industry.
