Cargo and passenger transport for this route

Since October 2014, Transmarko has been responsible for maritime transport between the continent and the Juan Fernández Archipelago, after winning the public tender for cargo and passenger transport for that route carried out by the Ministry of Transportation.

The service generates two monthly trips, in which all types of cargo are transported: frozen, refrigerated, general cargo, construction materials and fuels. It also has accommodation for the transfer of up to 12 passengers per section.
